Prof. Zhou is the chief scientist and director of the SKLOD and the dean of West China College of Stomatology, Sichuan University. As the first who were awarded a Ph. D on cariology in China in 1987, Prof Zhou continued her postdoctoral research in Royal Dental College, Aarhus University, Denmark. Prof Zhou is a respected scientist with numerous publications and great attainments in dental plague and tooth remineralization research. As Vice President of the Chinese Association of Stomatology, Prof. Zhou is also a distinguished scholar with significant influence in the academic community. She is also invited by Hong Kong University and Osaka Dental University to be the guest professor. Prof. Zhou also chairs ICD China Division and works as the chief editor of West China Journal of Stomatology.



 

Prof. Wang is the No-Hee Park Endowed Professor and Chair, Division of Oral Biology and Medicine, School of Dentistry, University of California at Los Angeles and also serves as the honorary professor of the University of Hong Kong and the lecturing professor of Peking University. Dr. Wang received his dental and medical training from both Peking University and Nanjing Medical University and his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Wang works in three major areas related to human oral health: 1) Molecular signaling and therapeutics of oral cancer; 2) Molecular regulation of oral inflammation and infection; and 3) Molecular control of adult dental stem cell properties and craniofacial regeneration. With many prominent international awards and recognitions, he is one of the most highly-cited dentist and scientists at the national and international levels.
